269/365:2010 Ballyvea Hall

Preached tonight at a harvest thanksgiving in Ballyvea Church Hall, in the townland of Ballyveaghmore in the parish of Annalong. The wee hall is up in the Mournes, and you park in the field beside it! It was great being back with the people of Kilhorne.

227/365:2010 View from the Top

227/365:2010 View from the Top

Took Pippa for her walk through the Moat Park today and climbed the 'moat' (although really it's a Motte). There's a great view out over Dundonald, and this one was looking towards the old St Elizabeth's and the Cleland Mausoleum in our graveyard. The Clelands were residents of the original Stormont Castle, or so I'm told.

218/365:2010 Clabby Church

A little bit of local knowledge helped me find the slightly faster route from Enniskillen to Belfast (via Tempo and Clabby). Except that it wasn't faster this time as I had to have a look at the churches along the way!

104/365:2010 Gaz

104/365:2010 Gaz

Complete lack of inspiration today until I spotted the Church of Ireland Gazette on my desk. It's the weekly newspaper of the Church of Ireland, but what I spotted was a form of my nickname at school - Gaz, or Gazza. Something I haven't left behind though, as some in church have taken to calling me that too!!!
