Another milestone, reaching day 300 in the 365 challenge - we're on the downward slope now, just over two months left.
This morning, as it was a bit colder, I put on my heavy winter coat, and found this in the pocket. A lovely Cadbury's Creme Egg, which must have been there since the spring! The best before date says July 2010, but I'm sure it's fine... shall have it later on!
Can't even say the word ball in the house any more. A rare moment when Pippa is just sitting chewing it, rather than chasing after it or wanting it thrown!
The new variable speed limit signs on the M1 heading west between Stockman's Lane and Dunmurry. Does anyone actually stick to the reduced speeds? Is it making any difference to traffic?
As seen on Top Gear, our speaker for the weekend is the Bishop of Lewes, Wallace Benn. Today we had three Bible teaching sessions (on the book of Acts), as well as some family activities in the park during the afternoon.
It's Harvest Weekend in church, and we had our Harvest (Sausage/Chicken/Pasty) Supper from the Golden Chip, followed by a Barn Dance. I think this was the only dance I wasn't up for all night, so got a photo taken.
I sometimes like to get out and about on my day off, so today I headed up to the Maiden City, Derry, Londonderry, Legenderry. There was a wee 'Walled City Market' on in Guildhall Square, so I sampled a burger on offer. This picture was taken from Shipquay Gate on Derry's walls. Not bad weather for an October Saturday!
I'm a Church of Ireland minister, working in County Armagh. I've been a Christian for over 24 years, and have given my life to serve the Lord Jesus, who died to save me.
