179/365:2010 The Slieve Donard
A little short break during a week off from the parish, and this was our destination. The spa facilities are fantastic, and the view of where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea is just brilliant. A reminder of our wedding reception just under two years ago, we just keep coming back to the premier hotel in Northern Ireland!

177/365:2010 Karting
Jonathan's stag do in advance of his wedding on Friday. A great night of karting, although I ended up in 7th or 8th out of 10...

176/365:2010 Unleash the Prayers!
Published the new version of our church Prayer Diary this afternoon, so they're all set ready to be distributed on Sunday to help people pray through a verse, a situation, and some church members each day through the summer.

175/365:2010 Lavender Spittle
The foamy stuff has appeared on our lavender and rose plants in the front garden. What's that all about?

172/365:2010 The Longest Day
Down at the shipyards as the longest day of sunlight in the year is coming to a close. Titanic Quarter is being transformed as we speak - and so much has happened already!

170/365:2010 Drum Shades
Pipe band championships in Bangor, County Down today. This was Cullybackey Pipe Band getting ready for the Grade 1 competition, and a nice reflection of the drummers in this guy's shades.

169/365:2010 The Burning Bush
Tonight I went over to the other side - of Church Green, to the Presbyterian Church for the Installation of their new minister, William. Turned out I went to school with his brother-in-law so we got a good catch up and wondered where the 13 years had gone since we left Dromore High!

168/365:2010 St Anne's
Photo taken straight from the camera after another little late evening expedition to get a 365 shot. I'm getting back into the swing of the big camera, and now realising that I was foolish to not be using it for more of my 365 shots... To see another couple of photos from tonight, including (IMHO) a clever shot, click on this photo and go back through my Flickr photostream.

167/365:2010 Queens
A quick night time photo taking expedition. My old alma mater. Also, the first 365 photo to be taken on the Canon 500D in over a month... I've gotten too used to a quick snap on the iPhone, so must use the big camera more!

165/365:2010 Flowers
A day spent at the 'wake' - Granny Wilky loved flowers, and these were just some of the multitude she had growing in her garden.

159/365:2010 Dromore Mound
Historically speaking, this is the best preserved example in Ireland of a Norman Motte and Bailey fort, located in Dromore, County Down. The photo isn't the most impressive though!

157/365:2010 Steering Wheel
A bit of a disappointment of a photo, really - today I was preaching away, at Upper Falls (which is really very upper Falls, as it's actually the Parish Church in Suffolk), but it was raining when I was coming out so didn't get a photo. In the end, I did a bit of driving, so I suppose the photo represents my day! Maybe I'll be back at Upper Falls some other time to get a photo...

156/365:2010 It's a Dog's Life!
Lying sleeping on my knee, so I sneaked a shot. Over the two weeks we've had her so far, she has grown so much (although still a tiny dog) and we've gotten to be very attached!
