061/365:2010 Sunk in the Semis
Ulster Rugby Schools Cup action from today's semi final between Wallace High School, Lisburn and Belfast Royal Academy at Ravenhill. Sadly my old school Wallace lost in a nailbiting finish 16-12. Maybe next year!

So is it too soon to say it'll be a BRA v MCB final then ;-) Mmmmmm, I wonder who'd win that?
ReplyDeleteWell Ali, you were wrong! Poor old Methody dumped out by Ballymena Academy. Perhaps the country boys can yet beat the city slickers!
ReplyDeleteYes poor old Methody. My son wants to know were the Methody side beaten today the actual Methody? Were they the first 15?? Incredible but true.
ReplyDeleteWe are consoled by having a relative who attended Ballymena Academy. She has other attributes too, but today thats a major one
I assume it was the firsts. 11-10 so was tight enough. So is the solution to Schools Cup gloryhunting having a relative who went to each school to jump on the bandwagon? Should be a good final. I don't really care who wins now seeing my Wallace aren't there!
ReplyDeleteLol I'm enjoying this.
ReplyDeleteNo Gary, once a collegian always a collegian. But we're sending our son to Inst, just in case!! ;-)
