089/365:2010 Rain Again!

080/365:2010 Say What You Mean?
Spotted this sign in the airport - what it means and what they intend to say aren't quite the same thing...

079/365:2010 Holiday Reading
Packing for a wee holiday in Lanzarote, and an important preparation is choosing the books to read while lounging in the sun. Last year, I ran out of books, so more will go this year! These are just a sample of the proposed holiday reading for this year...

077/365:2010 Hillsborough
Potty Training (Post Ordination Training) was in Hillsborough. I tried for a night time shot when we came out but it was too dark for the iPhone camera to cope. This was on our arrival at teatime.

074/365:2010 Abstract Plug
Stuck for inspiration, with no bright ideas, powerless in fact, so I just plugged away until something came to me...

073/365:2010 School of the Black Stuff
The townland of Guiness is between Dundrum and Dromara, near Drumkeeragh Forest, in very rural County Down! Passed this on my way home from the youth weekend.

071/365:2010 Bunk Beds!
First night of the church Youth Weekend away so I've got the bottom bunk due to my tendency to sleepwalk... Don't want to be breaking my leg or neck by falling from the top bunk!

066/365:2010 Edward Carson
Another walk in Stormont Estate. The blue sky was amazing behind the statue of Sir Edward Carson as he gazes down towards the Newtownards Road.

064/365:2010 Gleno Waterfall
The silky smoothness of the water coming over the waterfall in a longish exposure. This was the first time I've been at the waterfall and really liked it!

063/365:2010 Glass Globe
This wee globe rests on top of a clock and sits on my desk. When thinking something through I can 'spin the globe'!

061/365:2010 Sunk in the Semis
Ulster Rugby Schools Cup action from today's semi final between Wallace High School, Lisburn and Belfast Royal Academy at Ravenhill. Sadly my old school Wallace lost in a nailbiting finish 16-12. Maybe next year!

060/365:2010 Unfaded Memories
A quick walk up to Stormont and back during lunch. Spotted this clump of Poppy Day remembrance crosses in the grass in front of Parliament Buildings. The red poppies have faded, but the memories represented no doubt have continued through many winters and into spring.
